You have several options:
– Another option is full material replacement through panel insertion, a more advanced technique where the damaged section is removed and replaced with a new piece of fabric. This method offers better structural integrity, extends the life of the gear, and provides a more aesthetic finish.
– A patch repair involves applying a piece of material over the damaged area. The damaged area is covered with a specially designed fabric patch, which is bonded using heat and pressure to ensure optimal adhesion.
This method is cost-effective, but its durability is limited.
– Finally, when possible, we can simply restitch the torn seam or add a dart. For waterproof products, we can restore the waterproofing by applying seam-sealing tape.

Zipper Repair: Identifying and Solving the Problem
If the zipper on your clothing or gear is no longer functional, the issue may fall into one of the following categories:
Cases requiring a full zipper replacement:
- Damaged zipper tape: The zipper structure is torn.
- Broken insertion pin: The guiding piece no longer works.
- Fabric jammed in the zipper: Material is stuck inside the teeth, preventing proper function.
- Broken or missing tooth: A missing or damaged tooth makes the zipper unusable.
Cases requiring only a slider replacement:
If none of the above issues are present, a simple slider replacement can restore full functionality to your zipper.

We can replace the drawstrings on your product. Before starting, it is important to determine whether the cord simply needs to be reattached or if the entire system must be replaced.
- Drawstring to reattach: The cord has only come unstitched from the fabric (without being cut or damaged), meaning it just needs to be sewn back in place for the system to function again.
- Drawstring to replace: The cord is damaged (torn, cut, lost, etc.), making the system unusable. In this case, the entire drawstring must be replaced.
We can replace the Velcro fasteners on your product. Before proceeding, it is important to assess the construction of your item to determine accessibility and the appropriate repair method.
- Through-stitched Velcro: No additional stitching is required to access the piece being replaced.
- Invisible or sealed-stitched Velcro: Stitching is required to access the component. Depending on the material, the seam will need to be resealed after the repair.
We can replace snap buttons on your product. Before proceeding, it is important to assess the construction of your garment to determine accessibility and the appropriate repair method.
- Through-Snap Button: No additional stitching is required to access the part that needs replacing.
- Non-Through Snap Button: Stitching will be required to access the snap. Depending on the fabric type, we may need to reseal the seams after the repair.
Edge guards provide effective reinforcement for the lower sections of your ski pants, protecting them from cuts caused by skis or crampons. However, over time, these protective elements can wear out.
We offer installation or replacement of edge guards using black Cordura, a material known for its exceptional durability.
Seam sealing tapes are heat-bonded strips used to waterproof the seams of technical gear.
When these tapes start peeling off, we can either reattach them or apply new sealing tapes to restore their function.
Pricing varies based on the length of tape to be reattached.
Important: If the fabric itself is damaged, reapplying seam sealing tape alone will not fully restore waterproofing to your jacket.
To meet your maintenance needs, we offer washing services for your outdoor clothing:
Standard washing – A gentle and fabric-friendly cleaning service tailored to your gear.
Washing with DWR treatment reactivation – This service restores the water-repellent (DWR) coating on the outer layer of your jacket, renewing its ability to repel water. The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment forms a thin protective layer that repels water, preventing it from penetrating the fabric.
Important: If your jacket has lost its waterproofing, reactivating the DWR treatment alone will not make it fully waterproof again.
Waterproofing refers to a membrane’s ability to prevent water from penetrating the fabric.
Manufacturers, such as Gore-Tex, classify membranes based on their resistance to water pressure before becoming permeable.
This capacity is measured using the Schmerber index, expressed in millimeters.
For example, a 20K membrane can withstand water pressure up to 20,000 mm before the fabric allows water to pass through.
If you experience localized water infiltration, we can perform a waterproofing test on the affected area.
Important:
Tests can only be conducted if you specify the exact area to examine.
If you notice a general loss of waterproofing, it may be due to:
Using the product in conditions exceeding its technical capabilities
Advanced wear of the membrane
Pricing varies based on the number of tests required.
Based on the results, we will recommend a suitable repair solution.

Zipper Repairs: Identify and Fix the Problem
If the zipper on your cross-country or mountaineering boot no longer works, it may be due to one of the following issues:
Cases requiring a full zipper replacement:
- Damaged coil: The zipper structure is torn.
- Trapped fabric: Material is stuck inside the coil, blocking its movement.
- Broken tooth: A missing or broken tooth makes the zipper unusable.
Cases where only the slider needs replacing:
If none of the above issues are visible, a simple slider replacement may be enough to restore full functionality to your zipper.

We offer several repair options depending on the extent of the damage:
- A patch repair involves applying a piece of material over the damaged area. The damaged area is covered by a fabric piece specifically designed for the repair. The patch is fixed using heat and pressure to ensure optimal adhesion.
This method is cost-effective, but its durability is limited. - Another option is the complete replacement of the damaged material with a patch, a more advanced technique that involves removing the damaged part and replacing it with a new piece of material. The patch ensures optimal structural integrity, extends the tent’s lifespan, and offers superior aesthetic results.
- Finally, when possible, we can redo the torn stitching or make a pleat. On a tent, we apply waterproof tape to guarantee the seam’s waterproofing.

Waterproof tapes are heat-sealed tapes used to seal seams on technical products.
If the strips come unstuck on a product, we can re-glue them or apply new strips.
The price depends on the length of the strips to be bonded.
Warning: If the fabric is damaged, simply re-adhering the waterproof strips will not be enough to make the jacket waterproof again.
